What They Say Should Never Matter

Your fear is the thing that is holding you back.

That is the quote I've always hold on to. I was one of those people who gets so comfortable in my comfort zone and hates failure. But then I realise that no success comes with no failure. That's it. You never know what you're capable to do until you try something you never knew possible.

One of the biggest issue I've always had is thinking of how other people's opinion would be. I always want to please people, so that was one of my biggest issue. But then again, I realised, I can't please everyone. I remember one of my experience, I was told that I paid to win the competitions. At first, that really shook me.

If only they knew how I spent sleepless trying making my texts. If only they knew I was nearly giving up because I was doubting myself with every step I make. If only they knew the sacrifices I made.

But that's the whole point, they only know half of the picture.

All they see is the happy parts, the winning parts, the success parts. They don't know your struggle. They don't know how hard you try. They don't know how you have to face every little fears by yourself. So why do we even have to care what they say?

It's hard, I get it. Not to listen those harsh words they said. Not letting those words get the best out of you. Not making this a step backwards towards your success.

But there's genuinely a difference between those who cared about you and those who don't.

Instead of trying to please those who don't care, focus to those who actually cares. It is a part of human nature, being loved by 1000 people but focusing to the 1 person hating them. There are things that can be fixed. But again, you can't change everyone's mind to be the exact same as you are. If they can't even appreciate you good side, do you really think that they can accept your flaws?
Some people came into your life as a blessing, some came into your life as a lesson.

Be grateful to those who are your blessings and be thankful to those who are your lessons. They both teach you something, in a slightly different way. Appreciate both, yet filter those who can be close to you and those who aren't.

The real blessing won't be many, but will always lead you to become a better person, each and every day.

Guilt : Psychological Burden?

One of the feelings that we can't simply deny is guilt. It stucks in your head and heart endlessly. It haunts you everywhere and every time.   "I could've done better."   "I could've change things." "Why didn't I do things differently before?"   "Why am I so stupid until I let this thing happen?"  A question we should ask ourselves : No matter how big your guilt is, does it change a thing?   Feeling guilty is a normal thing. It's a good thing actually, because you realise your own mistakes and you have the thought of changing it. It gives you further motivations to better things up in your life ahead. It gives you the need to be better so you don't have to experience bad thing twice.  But what happened when guilt turns into an unnecessary psychological burden? One of the toughest form of guilt is the guilt towards yourself. You can be your own best friend or worst enemy. When you make a mistake toward...

You can't solve problems because it feels like it's never ending.  It's like being trapped in a four wall room with only you and your crazy mind. A four wall room full of mirrors for you to see how you and your life is a complete mess. It's like knowing that your life is falling apart yet still being completely helpless. Being constantly reminded of your flaws, your problems, and the flashbacks of every single bad memories in your head. You know there's a door for you right in front of your face. You can just open and escape but you just simply can't.  Feeling suffocated every time you try to move towards the door. When you try to do a step forward, there will always be things that will pull you two steps backwards.  You can just shout and ask others for help, bu...
